In today’s design ideas post, our inspiration mainly comes from our designs Scandinavia, where there are interesting color combinations. For example, who would have thought that combining rust with a berry color could be perfect? Keep reading for five different color palettes; Fall will bring meaningful home style this season.
A BACKGROUND OF PINK COLORS
While some consider the pink revival to be trendy; This pink is still going strong in the design arena! It is always refreshing when placed side by side with colors like mint; White; but try combining with pearl red for an unwanted transformation.
Peach color brings out an autumnal atmosphere in the home;, and it makes the perfect backdrop to rich greenery; especially the approach holidays.

Use pink as your background (like a wall color, for example) or make it stronger in a richer color like sepia. Pink can really pop in an unusual way when combined with darker shadows.
There is something powerful about using ringtones, especially when they together create a sense of drama for fall and winter. Coral berry-hued wallpaper from ferm LIVING is a fascinating backdrop for modern lighting.
Use a rich eggplant tablecloth as a canvas for decadent dishes at your dining table. Hint: black lingerie and snacks come to life with black-blackberry backdrops, and when you throw in perfect fall and winter foods like carrots and pomegranates, you’ll have a great show. Unforgettable show of gastronomy!
Pale Berry can even go into warm territory, as shown by this sepia brown from the LIVING ferm. Don’t be afraid to use layers to create a monochromatic look:
Again, a light backdrop can make fruity tones really pop, especially if your paint color is neutral. The oat shells emphasize the delicate nuances of Jacquard teas from ferm LIVING:
The shade of the fruit is gentle and elegant. Lavender, gray and powder blue come to life in this bedroom by Broste Copenhagen:
COOL COMBINED WITH BLUE
One of our favorite palette design ideas this fall is a combination of rusty and blue colors. And no one brings it home like Broste Copenhagen! The pages of their Fall/Winter 2017 Catalog are filled with fascinating images like the one below. Note the use of dark green, rust, powder blue and peach, living in perfect harmony:
Rust and gold meet rich hues of blue in the illustration below. By combining colors with similar shades (rust red and yellow, navy blue and cobalt blue), a unique display is realized:
Why does this palette work? Perhaps it is a fact that blue and orange are complementary colors! By sharpening it with subtle shades of each, you can get a chic yet strikig combination. For example, bright orange can damage rust, while powder blue may be preferred over bright royal blue:
When it comes to falling color palettes, sometimes much less. This great image from Broste Copenhagen says it all (see below). A watercolor wall followed by muted sounds is greatly reduced, including eye-catching brown glass and leaves:
Espy; the botanical box of ferm LIVING in the rose flower may not look like the picture of autumn; but its rich cream and green architectural walls give it an unmistakable autumnal feel. Try using flowers and plants to your advantage this season; as they will pop up neutral walls:
There is power in numbers. When it comes to pale walls; sometimes just a group of small ornaments in shades like sepia; Oatmeal and black. These Soy Candles from Ferm LIVING are the epitome of fall style:
Sometimes the smooth look can be emphasized with a dense piece. This dome shadow in Dark Green brings the dining room below to life. Soft gray prevails, but an accent emphasizes it strongly!
Green is full of life; and it looks great with other greens; as well as rust and blush. The Hexagon Pot in Rose by ferm LIVING is offset by a rich green color; and dense green:
Use green as a wall color; instantly gives the room a sense of richness. Halogen Velvet Armchair from CB2 looks like home in the modern space below:
